SCWIB Partnerships
Title I Providers
We contract with WIA Title I providers to deliver services to jobseekers and employers. Our contractors are Southwest Training Services, Inc., serving Washington and Greene counties; and Job Training for Beaver County, Inc., serving Beaver County. These companies offer many services to residents of the Southwest Corner.

Youth Providers
Year-Round Youth Services are offered in the Southwest Corner. These services range from career guidance, internship opportunities, and employment services just to name a few.
Also, the Regional Career Education Partnership (RCEP) provides area youth with opportunities such as job shadowing and field trips to local businesses. Read more about the RCEP on our Initiatives page.
PA CareerLinks
PA CareerLink is the front line service provider of the SCWIB. Services are available at all centers to assist with Veteran’s Services, OVR Services, job search, resume assistance, and many other functions to assist job seekers and employers.

There are four PA CareerLink centers in the Southwest Corner. Each PA CareerLink receives oversight from a Board of Operators comprised of leading partners in each site.

Regional Workforce Collaborative
This partnership was initially established in March, 2006, when Westmoreland County Community College, Community College of Allegheny County, Community College of Beaver County, Western Area Career and Technology Center, and Allegheny Ludlum joined to form a Regional Training Alliance.
The mission of this group was to develop industry-driven curriculum and prepare students for employment as industrial maintenance technicians.
Currently the Alliance’s mission has expanded to include the energy industry and these new partners:
