Way To Work
The SCWIB is offering a fantastic opportunity to employers and job seekers in Beaver, Greene, and Washington Coutnies. This opportunity is Way to Work.
Job Seekers - If you are on TANF, Food Stamps, or low income with a dependent child under 18 - WE HAVE JOBS FOR YOU.
Employers - Are you hiring, or getting ready to hire? Way To Work will match potential hires to your job listing, allowing you to interview the best possible candidate. You will receive 100% reimbursement for training your new employee on the job. You will only have to pay the employer taxes.
- Private sector employers who need to expand and increase their workforce as the economy begins to rebound can benefit from help with employee costs at a time when it is challenging to obtain the financial resources needed to hire additional workers.
- Nonprofits and public entities can directly benefit from receiving help with employee costs during this time when state and local tax revenues have dramatically decreased.
- Allow this funding to get your new employee trained and prepared in the way that you need to be successful. When the training period is complete, your new employee will be ready to continue working for you with the skills and aptitudes that you need to compete.
- Funding for this opportunity will end on September 30, 2010.
